摘要
多分辨率建模作为解决大面积地形实时动态显示的手段 ,近年来在国内外得到普遍的重视和研究。针对不规则三角网格和多分辨率模型的特点 ,总结前人在这方面的有关算法和数据结构 。
Multiresolution modeling, used to resolve the real time rendering of large scale terrain, has attracted growing interest over the last decade. In the light of the characteristics of Triangulated Irregular Networks (TINs) and multiresolution modeling, the related algorithms and data structrues are summed up. Finally, a preliminary study of designing extensible application framework for multiresolution 3D terrain is made.
