The Jiangnan oil painting in image schema has a strong regional culture. Its occurrence and development have been influenced by the natural geographical environment, the recessive poetic cultural spirit and the literatipainting tradition, as well as the cultural character in Jiangnan regions and the esthetic psychology, and have the distinct characteristicsof uniqueness, territoriality, inheritance and time in the modern and contemporary era. This paper examines the impact of regional humanistic environment on the Jiangnan oil painting from the selection of the subject matter, the artistic style and the expression techniqueof the Jiangnan oil painting to deeply understand the history and the current situation of the local oil painting in Jiangnan regions. It is conducive to the nationalization and localization exploration of oil painting and has an important practical significance.
