"四方八虎"图案是彝族远古先民图腾崇拜、古老朴素阴阳观的反映,它反映了彝族独特的审美观和民族文化心态。将虎元素通过与现代流行趋势相结合的方式加以创新应用,使古老的元素焕发新的生命力,对发展彝族传统服饰文化具有积极作用。
The 'Eight-Tiger-on-Four-Side' Pattern is a reflection of the ancient ancestors’ totem worship of the Yi people and the ancient plain views of yin and yang. It reflects the unique aesthetics and national cultural mentality of the Yi people. With innovative application of tiger elements combining with modern fashion trends, the ancient elements renew its vitality providing a positive impact for the development of the traditional costume culture of the Yi people.
