The structural design of the monitoring center—Phase Ⅰ of the world culture heritage protection project in Jiayuguan Pass was briefly introduced. The design of foundation,the comparison of superstructure layout and the control measures of overlong structure were discussed. Besides,fair-faced concrete wall was adopted in some part of the infilled wall,regarding to the architectural effect and function. The conclusions provide references for the design of similar projects.
