摘要 甚小孔径终端(以下简称VSAT)卫星通信技术的成熟,以及系统运行成本的降低和数据传输速度的提升,使越来越多的船舶拥有了VSAT天线终端。VSAT设备的应用,实现了船舶与岸方相关单位全天候不间断的连接,能提高船岸信息交流的实效性;岸上相关单位可实现对船舶主机等主要设备工况的实时监控;日常航行中,船方可获得岸方更多的信息服务;当船舶处于危险时,可实现岸方对船舶的遥控指挥、服务救助;当船舶参与搜寻救助时,该设备还能传输利于决策的语音、视频信息;设备的应用还能改善船员的工作环境,保障船员的身心健康。伴随VSAT设备的进一步普及,必将对船舶运营模式和船员生活和工作方式产生更加深刻的影响。 As very small aperture terminal( VSAT) satellite communications technology mature,the system operation cost reducing and data transmission speed increasing,more and more ships have VSAT antenna terminal. With VSAT equipment,the ship to shore side of a 24- hour uninterrupted connection has realized,the effectiveness of ship-to-shore communication can be improved. Shore based unit which can realize real-time monitoring of working condition of the ship equipment,such as host. In the usual voyage,the ship can obtain more information from shore base. When the ship is in danger,VSAT can realize remote control of the ship. When the vessels involved in search and rescue,the device can transmit voice and video information for decision making. VSAT can also improve the crew working environment,guarantee the physical and mental health of the crew. Along with the popularization of VSAT equipment,the device will certainly has more profound impact on the ship operation mode,the life and work of the crew.
