On the Images and Cultural Character of Song Iambic Verses

当宋代词人在词的创作中"书不尽言,言不尽意"时,便"立象以尽意"。经过对所立之象的艺术加工和创造,宋人词笔下出现了丰富多姿的审美意象。正如清人袁枚诗中所言"夕阳芳草寻常物,解用都为绝妙词。"这些审美意象不仅有其写实性,同时还具有虚拟性,呈现出独特的文化品格。

When people in Song Dynasty created the iambic verses,,they felt that they had much more to say than what they could write.Therefore,they used images to show the feelings.Through artistic polishing and creation of the images,they created the varied and colourful aesthetic images.As Yuan Mei in Qing Dynasty said'Sunset,Grass-usual things,Better understanding and uses makes excellent iambic verses.'These aesthetic images not only have their genuine aspect,but ficticious aspect as well.Thus they present unique cultural charatter.
