Eclecticism":The Cultural Style of the Literary Criticism in the Literary Mind and the Carving of the Dragon

本文提出并论证 :“唯务折衷”是《文心雕龙》文论思想独特的一种文化选择。其文论思想具有亦道亦儒亦佛又非道非儒非佛的趋于圆融的精神品格与人文内涵 ;其为学的观念、方法 ,体现了刘勰站在道儒佛之上俯瞰三学与古今的“弥纶群言”的精神气度。

This article proposes and proves that eclecticism is a unique cultural choice of literary criticism in the Literary Mind and the Carving of the Dragon. The literary criticism therein is of increasingly accommodating spiritual quality and humanistic connotations characteristic of both Daoism, Confucianism and Buddhism and at the same time non-Daoism, non-Confucianism and non-Buddhism. Its Academic conceptions and methodology embodies Liu Xue's spiritual stance, innovative efforts for an independent style as well as its median style accommodating for both sides on the basis of Daoism, Confucianism and Buddhism while transcending them all.
