The Mystery of St. Joseph in the Memory of the Church

在当代天主教教会中,圣若瑟作为圣人的身份似乎已被忽视。然而,回顾教会历史,对圣若瑟的敬礼从未稀缺,如阿维拉的大德兰对他尤为推崇。同时,除了众所周知的《玛窦福音》和《路加福音》之外,关于圣若瑟的素材在历史上也足够充分。本文中,作者聚焦《雅各原始福音》,奥利振的讲道以及他与安提阿的依纳爵之间的通信等文本,得出结论为:由于圣若瑟的圣人品格,伟大的道成肉身的奥迹得以实现。因着他,耶稣被保护,且在具体的人类历史中被给予一个家族的身份;因着他,此间世界中的每一个人得以进入天主的救赎工程之中。

St.Joseph seems to be a Saint who is overlooked by modern Catholic Church.However,reflecting on the Church history,the devotion to St.Joseph is not rare,for example St.Teresa of Avila often honors him.Again,the material on St.Joseph is frequent in addition to the well-known narrative of St.Matthew and St.Luke.In this paper,the author focuses on Protoevangelium of James,the homilies of Origen and the letters between Origen and St.Ignatius of Antioch.The conclusion should be that with the holiness of St.Joseph,the great mystery of incarnation can be realized.Because of him,Jesus could be protected and be given the family identity in the concrete human history;thanks to him,each one of us in this world could enter the saving project of God.
