汉字是记录汉语的书写符号,汉语词汇的发展变化会推动汉字的发展。汉语词汇的积累大约经历过三个阶段,即原生阶段、派生阶段与合成阶段。受词汇发展的影响,汉字也经历了与之相应的三个阶段的发展历程,即"造字"、"改字"、"组字"。

Chinese characters is a written symbol used to record Chinese.Development and change of Chinese vocabulary will promote the development of Chinese characters. The accumulation of Chinese words had undergone three stages: the primary stage, derivative stage,synthesis stage. Influenced by the lexical de-velopment, Chinese characters have also experienced a corresponding development process of three stages:the creation of characters, the alteration of characters, the combination of characters.
