摘要
美国的高校问责制大致经历了由民主导向到绩效导向,再到市场导向这样一个发展历程。从美国高等教育发展的现状来看,高校问责制已经成为政府和社会干预高等院校的一种正式的制度安排,问责的形式也在不断地丰富和变化。正确理解美国高校问责制的内涵及其发展阶段,认识其在不同社会条件下所发生的变化,将会为我国高等教育的发展提供借鉴。
Accountability in American higher education has gone through a development path from democracy-oriented to performance-oriented and to the market-oriented.From the current situation,it has become a formal institutional arrangement for the government and society to intervene higher education.And its form are constantly enriching and changing.Correcdy understanding the connotation of Accountability in American higher education and its evolution in different stages and changes in various social conditions will provide our higher education with useful reflection and salutary lessons.
