作为言语证据的警务英语教学初探——以法律语言学为视角

摘要 从言语证据角度出发,将警务英语所涉内容视为法律实务中的言语证据或者"准"言语证据,作为言语证据的警务英语文书和口语类内容具有法律专业属性;由此确定法律语言学构架下的警务英语的教学范畴,并讨论在该范畴下警务英语的教学原则和方法。其基本原则包括专业性原则、逻辑性原则和目的性原则,而在法律语言学指导下的警务英语教学法主要体现出交际功能法的结构规则和实践指导两种作用;结合具体教学案例分析法律语言学影响下的警务英语教学过程,论证法律语言学与警务英语教学的互动关系。 From the viewpoint of linguistic evidence,contents in police English are seen as linguistic evidence or quasi-linguistic evidence in legal practice.The writing and oral contents in police English as linguistic evidence is of legal attribute.Therefore,teaching scope of police English is established in the framework of legal linguistics and teaching principle and methods in this scope are discussed.The basic teaching principle of police English includes profession,logic and purpose.Teaching method of police English directed by legal linguistics mainly reflects two directive functions of the structural regulation and practical direction done by communicative methodology.Teaching cases are used to analyze police English teaching process influenced by legal linguistics so as to prove the interactive relation between legal linguistics and police English teaching.
