摘要
本文提出一种能提高下变频模拟光子链路线性化程度的方法,并通过实验演示加以验证,实验装置包括两个相位调制器、一个偏振镜和一个滤光器。仿真实现了10GHz的微波信号调制成100MHz的中频信号的下变频操作,通过对横电和横磁模式之间的角度调整和优化,有效地抑制了三阶互调失真(IMD3),该线性化方法抑制IMD3的程度达14dB,同时无杂散动态范围提高13dB。
A method to improve the linearity of the down-converted analog photonic link is proposed and experimentally demonstrated,consisting of two phase modulators,apolarizer,and an optical filter.Downconversion of a 10 GHz microwave signal to 100- MHz intermediate frequency is successfully achieved.By carefully optimizing the angles between the transverse-electric and transverse-magnetic modes,the thirdorder inter-modulation distortion(IMD3)is suppressed.The linearization method leads to a suppression of the IMD3 by more than 14 and 13dB improvement of spurious-free dynamic range.
