基于3D人脸姿态的人脸光照校正新方法

摘要 充分考虑姿态与光照的内在关系,提出了一种利用人脸姿态来校正人脸光照的新方法。首先利用待识别正面2D人脸图像生成特定3D人脸模型;通过改进的九点光源法估计出待识别2D人脸图像和gallery图像的光照方向,把特定3D人脸模型旋转到与gallery光照一致的方向,投影生成2D人脸图像;然后根据提出的姿态估计方法对该2D人脸图像进行姿态估计,恢复成正面,用于最终的识别。在CMU-PIE、CAS-PEAL人脸库上的实验表明,该方法可以有效地提高待识别人脸图像的正确识别率。 In order to make best use of the relation between the pose and illumination,a novel method is proposed to solve the face illumination using the face pose。First,a frontal unidentified 2D face image is built to the special 3D face model; using the improved nine point lighting sources method,the directions of the unidentified 2D face image and gallery image are estimated. The special 3D face model is rotated to the direction which is same to the gallery image’s and projected to 2D face image. Then,the pose of the 2D face image is estimated by the presented pose estimation method. The pose image is redressed to front and used to final face recognition. The experiments in CMU- PIE,CAS- PEAL face databases show that our method can improved the correct recognition rate of the unidentified face image.
