Research on the softswitch technology and quality of service in next generation network

摘要 讨论下一代网络 (NGN)的特征、网络结构 ,面向NGN的软交换 (Softswitch)解决方案以及现有软交换技术的发展方向 。 The features and structure of Next Generation Network (NGN) were introduced and the softswitch solution and development trend for NGN analyzed. The core ideas, advantage of softswitch and quality of service in softswitch were expatiated. By using MPLS technology, the good quality of service can be promised for the various dataflow. It is seen that MPLS and softswitch technologies will be applied widely in the internetwork in the recent future.
