调查表明:高校学生社团数量空前繁荣,基本类型止于6种;文史类压倒理工农医类,高低年级呈现惊人反差关系,选择多种社团非常普遍,热门选择“挤”于专业与文体两大类,丰富生活、提高能力、恐惧孤独等分别处于动机的最高、中间与底部层面;活动的频率、层次、形式基本同属于有差别的“低水平”特征。可见、主要问题集中于定位对多样服务宗旨的偏离,与因缺乏创意、层次不高而影响有限这两大方面。学校加强指导的根本之道在于观念的转变:将低评价或中性评价转为高评价;将“放任自流”转为有合力的齐抓共管;将“不投入”“少投入”转为“增加投入”或“多渠道社会筹集投入”。

Student mass organizations play a sp ecial role in the work of educating people in colleges and universities.T he article,on the basis of a survey of th e basic conditions of today' s university student mass organizations(i.e.their basic types,subject structure and studen ts' motives for joining the mass organiz ations),analyses the major problems facing the university student mass organizations:inaccurate positioning,imperfect management,low level and little influence.To solve these problems,it also proposes the measures such as improving the mechanism,strengthening guidance,strictly examining,etc.
