Conservation and Restoration of Red Lacquer Gilded Wooden Coffin Inlaid Silver Excavated from Jinling Site

北京房山金陵遗址出土的红漆银片錾花鎏金木棺存在污染、残缺、断裂、裂隙等病害,根据木棺工艺特点及相关分析检测等,对木棺进行了清洗、脱水、保护修复工作,重点讲述了胎体、银鎏金图案等修复过程。

There were the obvious pollution, cracking, checking on the red lacquer gilded wooden coffin inlaid silver excavated from Jinling Site. After studying the technological characteristics, analysing the wood species and calculating the water content, we designed the conservation plan. The conservation treatment is cleaning, dehydrating and restoring.
