摘要
长期以来,在国外主流学术界一直否认存在怀特海美学的存在。本文的研究则表明,怀特海的美学理论其实是极为丰富的,在某种意义上可以说,怀特海整个哲学、整个形而上学都是美学。怀特海美学的主要理论内容包括强调审美经验的普遍性;主张美是动态的和谐;美是道德的基础以及对美的重要性的高扬。怀特海美学批判了现代西方文明对美的压抑,解构了窄化美学的艺术中心主义,通过消除事实与价值的对立,为生态运动提供了本体论的支撑;为生态伦理学奠定了基础;丰富了生态美学,拓展了美学的疆域。
The paper confirms the existence of Whitehead's aesthetics by exploring its basic contentsincluding: 1)The emphasis on pervasiveness of aesthetic experience; 2) The essence of beauty lies in dynam-ic harmony; 3)beauty is the base of Morality; 4)emphasis on the importance of beauty. Whitehead's aesthet-ics criticizes the suppression of beauty by modern industry civilization, deconstructs art centrism in aesthet-ics, provides ontological support for ecological movement by removing the Great Wall between fact and val-ue, provides foundation for environmental ethics, enrich ecological aesthetics, and largely expands the terri-tory of aesthetics.
