A DESIGN OF MULTIMODAL INTERFACE FRAMES FOR USER - ORIENTED MULTIMEDIA RETRIEVAL

摘要 本文提出并设计了一种面向用户的多媒体信息检索中的多模态界面框架。该框架将知识指导、语义概念学习、自然语言处理及用户特性分析等技术于一体,从而为设计通用多媒体信息检索系统奠定了基础。 On account of the complexities of multimedia and the uncertainties of user's demand, content-based multimedia retrieval has intrinsic requirements for multimodal-interface techniques to promote efficient and effective human-machine interactions.In order to represent multimedia data and features in a reasonable way and respond to a user's demand satisfactorily, a sort of multimodal interface frames for user-oriented multimedia retrieval is presented in this paper.Through the integration of knowledge guidance, semantic concepts learning,natural language processing,and properties analyses of different users, the proposed frames can thus lay the foundation for design of general multimedia information retrieval systems.
