《论语》中地名"费"音读考

Textual Research on the Pronunciation of "费", a Place Name in Quotations from Confucius and His Disciples

《论语》中先后四处出现山东地名"费"。杨伯峻先生在《论语译注》中,两处加注,注明其音读和现所在地区;两处未加注解。王力先生、郭锡良先生、朱振家先生分别在他们主编的《古代汉语》文选中,对《论语·季氏》提及的山东地名"费"注明音读和现所在地区。本文试从古音韵学角度考察山东地名"费"的古读音及流变,并对古代典籍中的古读音标示发表了自己的浅见。

In Quotations from Confucius and His Disciples,"费",the name of a place in Shangdong turns up four times.In his Translation and Notes about Quotations from Confucius and His Disciples, Mr.Yang Bojun gave notes twice about the place name,pointing out its pronunciation and the present location of the stated place,but he gave no notes when the name appears at the other two points.In Ancient Chinese Prose Works compiled separately by themselves,Misters Wang Li,Guo Xiliang and Zhu Zhenjia,gave the pronunciation of the name"费"mentioned in Quotations from Master Ji,and the present location of the place.The author of this article attempts,from the angle of ancient phonology,to do some textual research on the pronunciation and gradual changes of the place name "费",and states his opinions about identifiable marks of ancient pronunciation in Chinese classical works.
