Responses and adaptations of zea maize seedlings to salt stress

摘要 分别用不同浓度(0,50,75,100mmol/L雪的NaCl溶液处理三叶期玉米幼苗1d和7d,测定其鲜重、干重、含水重、无机离子和有机溶质,渗透调节能力等,结果显示:玉米幼苗生长受到盐的抑制,盐胁迫下,玉米幼苗吸收一定量的Na+、Cl-,主要渗透调节均质是可溶性糖、游离氨基酸和有机酸等有机溶质,以有机渗透调节为主.处理7d后的渗透调节的效果更明显,且玉米地上部有拒盐作用. Maiza seedilings of 3-leaf stage were treated with different concentraticns of NaCl for one and seuen days respectively.The fresh weight,dry weight and water content,inorganic ions and organic solutes,as well as osmotic adjustmen ability were determined respectively.Results were shown on follows:the growth of maize seedlins was inhibited by NaCl,under NaCl stress,maize seedlings absorbde a great quantity of Na+ and Cl-,organic solutes,such as solube sugar,organic acid and amino acid played an important role in osmotic adjustment,the effect of osmotic adjustment was marked after seven days of salt treatment and the sodium was excluded from the shoot of maize seedlings.
