黎昔非先生与《独立评论》考辨——兼与耿云志先生商榷

黎昔非先生作为《独立评论》的经理人,为这份在中国现代历史上产生过重要影响的刊物作出了不可磨灭的贡献,而这项繁重的工作对他的人生却造成了极大的影响。耿云志先生著《黎昔非先生与〈独立评论〉》一文没有回答文题应有之义,而是刻意从维护胡适的角度出发贬低黎昔非的作用,在许多关键问题的叙述中严重歪曲基本事实,有必要予以澄清,还历史以本来面目。

The Independent Comments was started by Hu Shi,the representative of the first-class cultural outstanding figures in the thirties of 20th century.They made it one of the most significant magazines in modern China.But few know anything about its manager Mr.Li Xi-fei,who was invited by Hu Shi to be in charge of the magazine and served the magazine for five years and made great contributions to it."Li xi-fei and the Independent Comments "by Mr.Geng makes a serious mistake by deliberately safeguardding the dignity of Hu Shi and underestimating Mr.Li Xi-fei's work,much of which is without foundation and needs further clarifying.
