《简·爱》中的男主人公罗切斯特留给读者许多的悬念和神秘,根据荣格“集体无意识”理论,从基督教的角度来解读罗切斯特,人们自然会将他与伊甸园中的亚当、蛇、甚至魔鬼撒旦等形象联系起来,这正是《圣经》对作者产生潜移默化影响的必然结果。罗切斯特的命运真正阐释了“犯罪——受罚——忏悔——救赎”的《圣经》模式。

Rochester in Jane Eyre is described in a seemingly mysterious way and leaves us a lot to know. Analyzing the description at the angle of Christianity, using Rung's 'Collective Unconsciousness', we naturally associate him with Adam, the serpent, and even the devil Satan, which results inevitably from Biblical impact on the author with her unawareness.
