On Juliane House and her Model for Translation Quality Assessment

德国学者朱莉安·豪斯的翻译质量评估模式在系统功能语言学、语篇分析等理论的基础上,设置了一定的参数,步骤上遵循一定程序,为翻译批评开辟了新的视角。本文论述翻译质量评估模式及其应用,并对模式进行述评。

The translation quality assessment(TQA) model,suggested by Juliane House in the 1970s,opens a new sight for translation criticism.This paper firstly offers a brief account of the scholar.The author then mainly discusses her model and its application.At last,some comments are made in hopes of putting forward researches on the field of translation evaluation on the basis of predecessor works.
