公共新闻与受众公民意识的提升

Civic Journalism and the Audiences' Improvement in Public Awareness

摘要 从当今社会正处于制度建设、呼唤公民意识提高的大背景着眼,结合传媒公共空间理论,以及美国公共新闻的探索,从受众角度分析了公共新闻理念对民生新闻可资借鉴之处。具体表现为:受众群体由市民向公民转变;报道中受众主动性增强;报道形式更强调公众的参与。 Based on the background of the system construction and the call for improvement in public awareness,the author,from the audiences' point of view,analyzes the civic journalism ideology in China,and associates it with the theory of public space and American civic journalism.It is found that Chinese civic journalism plays a significant role in the journalism of people's livelihoods,which is demonstrated in three aspects: first,the audiences have been changed from urban residents into citizens in general;second,the audiences are becoming more active in dealing with the information in the reports;third,audiences are paying more attention to participating in reporting.
