This thesis gives an analysis of the adverb 'Fan' in terms of syntactics,semantics and function: The scope adverb 'Fan' in QiMinYaoShu can not only modify and restrict VP and NP,but also combine with NP,NumP and the subordinate clauses of complex sentences;It refers to anaphorically to whole range appears next,and attritutes logic meaning of conditions to sentences;As a topic marker,it highlight the comment of sentences.
