Solitary and Sense Theory of Su Shi’s Literary Group and its Impacts on their Literary Theory

苏氏"寂感"说分为体用、动静、性情三个层面,强调主体修为由思而至于无思、"入神"以致用;物我交相感应以至于"忘";性发为情而最终复于性。苏氏"寂感"说是苏轼等人文学思想的哲学基础,一方面影响其文艺思维方式,体现为对创作主体自身修养的重视,要求尽物之妙、随物赋形,达到"入神"境界;一方面影响其艺术风格,追求由绚烂之极回归平淡。

The literary group led by Su Shi put forward their solitary and sense theory,including three relevant parts recognized as body and function,action and motionlessness,nature and emotion.They empha-sized that man should become spiritualized and put the spirit into use,consciously and unconsciously,and human beings should interact with the exterior conditions,with the emotion coming from one's nature and returning to nature eventually.The theory was the theoretical base for their literary theory.It exerted im-pacts not only on their thinking ways,but also on their choices of writing styles.They maintained that a writer could succeed if he depicted the things he was acquainted with,achieving the culminating level of literary attainments,undergoing gorgeousness and returning to plainness.
