Pre-sequence,one type of pre-illocutionary act sequence and a special conversation phenomenon,is a format followed by the language users when they have a verbal communication.The present paper illustrates pre-sequence in a simple way and analyzes pre-request,pre-invitation,pre-announcement sequences in a special context(public bus) in order to clarify the characteristics and advantages of pre-sequence in the public bus conversation.
