摘要
《中国新文学的源流》是周作人文学观得到集中体现的一部著作,该文中他将中国古代文学分为"文以载道"和"诗言志"两派,并且主"言志"而绌"载道"。但追溯中国古代文论史,"言志"与"载道"在这里都受到了误用,"诗言志"实则为"诗缘情",它强调文学创作时自我情感的自在状态,为己而非为他人。这种"自己表现"的文学观,其实是对数千年来强调文学教化的社会功用的宏大叙事的解构。
Zhou Zuoren,in his work The Origin of Chinese New Literature,which highlighted his view of literature,divided the Chinese ancient literature into literature for moral education and poems conveying ideals,appreciating the latter more than the former.In Chinese ancient literary theory both literary schools were misinterpreted.Poems for conveying ideals actually were in close association with the writer's affec-tion,emphasizing the state in which the writer expresses his own feeling when composing a poem.The lit-erary view of 'self-expression' is actually to deconstruct the grand narrative that has accentuated the liter-ature's educational function for thousands of years.
