China’s development has created a miracle of overcoming poverty in the contemporary world.This paper aims at analyzing the relationship between the new development concept and the'middle income trap'and provide coping strategies for surmounting the'middle income trap'.Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.To surmount the'middle income trap',we must unify the proposition of development,reform and opening-up into the the new development concept.We need to build a modern economic system and adhere to the'four comprehensive'strategic layout.
