上海地区银行业竞争力的评价研究

The Evaluation of the Competitiveness of Shanghai Banking Industry

商业银行对我国金融业和实体经济的发展都有着十分重要的影响。上海地区作为我国未来的经济、金融和贸易中心,商业银行众多,银行间的竞争也异常激烈。对上海地区商业银行竞争力的分析和评价,可以在一定程度上为金融管理机构提供决策依据,从而更好地促进该地区商业银行的发展。本文通过DEA方法和SFA方法对十四家商业银行在上海地区分支机构的数据进行处理和分析,评价各大银行在上海市的竞争力。主要研究结论表明:近年来上海地区银行业的效率不断上升,国有银行在竞争力方面与股份制银行相比不具有优势,且绝大部分银行处于规模报酬递减阶段。

Commercial banks have very important influence on the development of China’s financial sector and the real economy.Shanghai area as China’s future economic,financial and trade center,has many large commercial banks,and the competition among banks is fierce.The analysis and evaluation of commercial banks ’competitiveness in Shanghai can provide support for decision making in financial institutions to some extent,so as to promote the development of commercial banks in Shanghai.We apply DEA and SFA method to process and analyze the data of 14 commercial banks in Shanghai branches and evaluate the competitiveness of major banks in Shanghai.The main findings show that,in recent years,Shanghai banking industry has increased its efficiency;the joint-equity banks perform better than the state-owned banks and the vast majority of banks are in the stage of decreasing returns to scale.
