白骨案件是一种疑难、复杂案件,可资利用的侦查要素比较少,常规侦查方法常常难以奏效,容易形成侦查僵局。数据挖掘作为一种比较高级的侦查方法,包括多种挖掘技术,在白骨案件侦查中可以运用一种或者多种挖掘技术进行数据挖掘。数据挖掘主要有痕迹物品数据挖掘、生物检材数据挖掘和电磁信息痕迹数据挖掘。数据挖掘具有查明被害人身源,破解侦查僵局,发现案件线索,确定侦查方向,发现证据材料,支持诉讼证明等作用。数据挖掘离不开理论基础、软件基础和硬件基础,离开了各种基础支撑,数据挖掘则无法进行。
