Implementing the Bilingual Teaching to Develop Foreign-related Policing Talents

随着经济全球化步伐加快,跨国犯罪有日益增多的趋势,因此,国际警务合作成为各国警务活动的重要内容之一。涉外警务专业实施双语教学既能改变高投入、低效率的大学英语教学现状,又能培养出高素质的涉外警务人才。但双语教学的推行需要从师资、教材、授课方式、学校管理等各方面予以提高。

With the speeding of economic globalization,there is a tendency for growing transnational crimes, and international police cooperation becomes one of important parts in all countries' policing. Bilingual teaching in foreign- related policing major can not only change the current situation of highly-invested and lowly efficient college English teaching, also can develop high-qualified foreign-related policing talents. But we have to improve our teachers, teaching materials,teaching methods and school managements to implement the bilingual teaching.
