刍议知识累积与道德修养提升的关系

Accumulation of Knowledge and Improvement of Moral Cultivation

知识累积与道德修养提升之间是否存在必然关联,可谓仁者见仁,智者见智。实际上,知识与理性有关,而行善行恶更多地与人的情感有关。既然理性的认知并不代表情感的认同,所以知识累积并不一定带来道德修养的提高,但知识的增长在一定程度上确实有助于提升人的道德修养,因而应从增强理性认知和促进情感认同两方面提升人的道德修养。

Whether accumulation of knowledge and improvement of cultivation has a inevitable relationship,different people have different opions.In fact, knowledge relates to rationality, but whether one does goodness or evil more concerns on specific individual emotion. Agreement from rationality is not equated with reorganization from emotion, so accumulation of knowledge does not led to improvement of cultivation consequentially. In the other hand, to accumulate more knowledge is beneficial to improving the people'moral cultivation,we should strengthen the understanding to knowdge through rationality and promote the recognition to morality through emotion to improve people'moral cultivation.
