数字故事在少儿英语教学中的应用研究

Study on the Application of Digital Storytelling in English Teaching for Younger Learners

近年来在教育领域中的一种新型教学方法——数字故事叙述(Digital Storytelling)广泛地应用于各种学科教学当中。数字故事叙述是一种把传统讲故事的形式与多媒体技术恰当结合,并利用网络作为发布平台的新型故事叙述方式。数字故事叙述运用于少儿英语教学能够激发学生英语学习的兴趣和热情、培养学生的创新意识和媒体素养。本文通过问卷调查和访谈等研究手段探讨数字故事叙述在少儿英语教学中的应用问题,研究结果表明数字故事叙述应用于少儿英语教学对于开发学生多元智能、提高语言综合运用能力、促进基础教育教学改革都具有重大意义。

In recent years, a new teaching method in the field of education — Digital Storytelling, is widely used in various disciplines of teaching. This new way of storytelling combines the way traditional storytelling with multimedia technology, using the Internet as publishing platform. Application of digital storytelling to English teaching is conducive to developing students' learning interests and enthusiasm as well as cultivating their innovative consciousness and media literacy. This paper adopts the methods of questionnaire and interviewing to explore the application of digital storytelling to English teaching for young learners. Some stories are made to demonstrate the practice process after which the advantage of digital storytelling is reexamined. The enlightenment to English teaching for young learners is that digital storytelling can contribute to developing multiintelligence, enhancing comprehensive language competency as well as promoting elementary education teaching-reform.
