摘要
The Research Report on the Strategic Planning of the Library,Information,and Archives Sciences by the Management Science Section of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences for Colleges and Universities in China mainly covers five key research areas and 26 research topics.The characteristics of the research topics are:the further clarification of the definition for information resource,the need for practicality,the problem-orientedness,the comprehensive and interdisciplinary study fields,the macro and strategic visions,and the extensibility of the core knowledge in library,information,and archives sciences.According to the 12 th five-year planning for economic and social development,based on the needs for economic and social development,library,information,and archives sciences can moderately extend their scope and research areas.
