查阅文献资料,进行数理统计和归纳分析,对里约奥运会田径项目的竞技格局进行分析,研究认为:田径运动的发展呈现出集中性的分散化发展,不同层次之间的竞技实力差距在加大,奖牌的洲际划分具有明显的地域性,且呈现出竞技波动性,美洲的竞技实力呈现下降趋势,欧洲在均衡中缓慢发展,亚洲、非洲、大洋洲呈现出上升趋势发展;田径项目项群特征分化比较明显,速度性项群、快速力量性跳跃以美洲为主导,投掷以欧洲为主,美洲为辅,耐力性项群上非洲形成了强势的垄断,竞走项目上亚洲、大洋洲形成了较强的竞争优势,全能项目未来依然是欧美之间的较量。中国代表团取得了历史性最好成绩,但依然处于爬坡期,未来的竞技之路依然艰难。
