在大学英语教学中培养学生的人文素质

大学英语课程是本科阶段基础必修课之一,是高校人文教育的组成部分,两年的大学英语教学对学生人文素质的培养影响深远。本文通过对河套学院8个不同专业的学生发放300份调查问卷,其中设计了11类52个问题,分析了我校大学生人文素养的现状及问题,从五个方面提出了培养大学生人文素养的对策:转变英语教学观为教育观,承担立德树人,的职责;教师既要有国际视野,还要有文化自信;推荐学生阅读中华传统经典著作;增设丰富多彩的人文选修课;从小事做起,培养"善举"。

College English course is one of the basic compulsory courses in undergraduate stage.It is an integral part of humanities education in universities.Two years of college English teaching has a profound impact on the cultivation of students’humanities quality.Through the questionnaire survey of 300 students from 8 different majors in Hetao College,52 categories of 11 questions were designed.The paper analyzes the current situation and problems of college students’humanities literacy,and proposes countermeasures for cultivating college students’humanities literacy from five aspects:teachers must change the concept of English teaching into the concept of education,strengthen moral education and foster talents;teachers not only have an international perspective,but also have cultural self-confidence;traditional Chinese classics will be recommend to students;colorful cultural electives will be added;cultivate'good deeds'from minor matters.
