English education in the higher vocational school education system occupies the important position, how to correctly use stratified teaching mode makes English teaching more efficient become a vital link. In this paper, starting from the English teaching of higher vocational schools, combined with practical experience to discuss how to understand the nature and role of the layered teaching mode, and train students' correct thinking method, put forward a series of strategies play a role of stratified teaching model.
