文化教育在大学英语教学中的重要性

The importance of cultural education in college English teaching

在现阶段,许多高校在进行英语教学时通常只重视英语文化知识,而忽视了我们自己的母语文化。虽然在英语课堂上讲授英语文化是一件再正常不过的事情,但是我国已经明确了英语教育的目的就是对跨文化交际人才的培养。本文就母语文化教育和跨文化教育在大学英语教学中的现状和重要性进行了说明,同时根据这两方面的内容对文化教育在大学英语教学中的相关实施原则进行了总结,希望对大学英语教学中的文化教育起到一定的借鉴作用。

At present, many colleges and universities in the English teaching usually only attaches great importance to the cultural knowledge of English, and neglect our own native culture. Although in English classroom teaching of English culture is a normal thing, but our country has made clear the purpose of English education is to cultivate cross-cultural communication talents. In this paper, the mother tongue culture education and the status quo of the cross-cultural education in college English teaching and the importance is illustrated, at the same time, according to the content of these two aspects of cultural education in college English teaching, summarizes the related implementation principle, hope to have some reference culture education in college English teaching.
