从接受美学角度看张培基英译《想北平》

老舍的《想北平》以质朴的语言抒写了作者对老北京这座文化古城的深情眷恋。其译文面向的是西方受众,目的是使西方受众感受中国文化,理解原作者在特定背景下的思乡情韵。接受美学重视文本的社会效果以及读者对文本的参与和理解过程。本文从接受美学角度,分析张培基英译的《想北平》的翻译技巧。

Lao she's Fond Memories of Peiping uses simple language to express the author sentimentally attached to the culture of the ancient city of old Beijing. Its translation is a western audience oriented, the purpose is to make a western audience feel the Chinese culture, the understanding of the author in the context of a specific homesick affection. Effect of reception aesthetics attaches great importance to the text of the social process of participation and understanding of the text and the reader. From the perspective of reception aesthetics, this paper analyzes the translation skills of Zhang Pei-ji's translation of the Fond Memories of Peiping.
