The System Building and Practice of Ability Fostering for English Majored Students ——A Case Study of the Course Reform for British and American Literature

本文以英语专业主干课程英美文学教学改革为例,探索新的适用于应用型英语专业英美文学教学的课程体系,指出以文学阅读为主线,增设适合学生英语程度的儿童文学等课程才更适合应用型英语专业学生的英美文学学习。

The paper aims at exploring new curricular system of literature in English major of application-orientated college based on the course reform of British and American Literature. It is intended to states that reading English literary works serves as the theme of literature teaching and Children’s Literature course should be set up in accordance with students’ English level in appication-orientated college.
