Cross-cultural teaching in English teaching

文化与语言密不可分,学习一门语言就是学习一种文化。本文针对人教社高中英语新课程标准(为方便起见,以下简称《新课标》)的文化特点,提出了进行文化教学的四条途径,以便能更好地培养高中学生的跨文化交际能力和综合语言运用能力。

Culture & language are so closely linked with each other that we can say to learn a language is to learn a culture. Based on the cultural characteristics in the New Curriculum Standard for Senior English,this article suggests four ways to teach culture so that we can train our students’ cross-cultural communicative competence and their comprehensive ability of using languages.
