The traditional English teaching mode has its drawbacks, and leads to low efficiency of English learning as well as deficiency of comprehensive ability. The author applies the scaffolding teaching method to college English teaching and explores the specific strategies of scaffolding teaching. The author hopes that it can be helpful for the reform of college English education.
