摘要
语境概念由美国人类学家马林诺夫斯基(Malinowski,Bronislaw Kaspar)于1923年提出,每一种语言研究范式都蕴含一定的语境观念。语言是交际的工具,语言的目的是表达和传递信息,只有将语言置于真正的使用环境中才有意义可言。语言知识需要现实环境的顺应和同化,需要在交流中不断改造和重组,最终实现内化,达到情景和主题交际的自动化。语言本身作为交际的工具,离不开特定的语境。语境决定着交际中话语的理解和表达。英语课堂教学中学生对教师语言的理解,以及学生语言交际能力的提高都与语境有着密切的关系。
The definition of context was postulated by American anthropologist Malinowski, Bronislaw Kaspar, which promoted the flourishing of language use in pragmatics. Language is the tool of human' s communication. The purpose of language is to communicate and convey one’s thoughts. Only when language is put in the reality of spoken or written environment can it make sense. The main form of English class is and should be the verbal communication between teachers and students. The successful conveying and understanding of communication is up to the language context. The teaching result of English class and students' communication ability are all related with the language context.
