Advantages and Disadvantages of Multimedia Technology in College English Teaching

本文分析了多媒体技术在高校英语教学中的有利之处,从在此基础上从不利于学生的个性发展、增加学生的记忆负担、削弱了学生的主观能动性等方面,分析了多媒体在英语教学中的弊端,并进一步提出了具体的运用途径。

This paper analyzes the advantageous of multimedia technology in college English teaching, on this basis, discusses the disadvantages of multimedia in English teaching from the following aspects: not conducive to the personality development of students, increase the students' memory burden, weaken the students' subjective initiative, and further puts forward the concrete way.
