The rapid development of higher vocational education in the new period puts forward higher requirements on English teaching in higher vocational colleges. Using the methods of literature study and expert interview to elaborates the present situation of English teaching in higher vocational colleges, to deeply analyze its problems, put forward higher vocational college English teaching reform under the perspective of social demand of path, aimed at improving the students' comprehensive quality, improving the quality of English teaching in higher vocational colleges.
