The economy in Xinjiang develops quickly and foreign trade increases as a result of frequent commerce activities. Therefore English, one of the most important communicating tools, whose function is becoming more and more important in the process of foreign trade and business activities. On the one hand, the shortage of English talents with mixed abilities hinder the development of foreign trade; On the other hand, it is urgent to cultivate a number of English talents with mixed abilities. The study explores the connotation, problems and possible solutions in the cultivation of English talents with mixed abilities in Xinjiang.
