"难道"在现代汉语中是一个语气副词,但在最开始出现的时候,"难"和"道"是两个分立的语言单位,两者是具有偏正关系的组合。线性顺序上邻近,语义有所改造,使用频率高,是"难道"发生词汇化的条件。
