摘要
阅读理解能力是衡量学生的英语水平的重要标志,培养学生的阅读理解能力是英语教学的重要目的。西方研究者们开始把语言符号和非语言符号(如动作、姿势、表情、教学设备等符号系统)统统纳入话语分析的框架,形成一种全新话语分析方法—多模态话语分析。多模态话语被应用在教学方面,形成了一种新的教学方法,多模态教学。多模态教学方法最突出的特点就是教师在课堂上采用各种模态资源。不同的模态资源可以刺激学生不同的感官。研究者假想学生各种感受器官共同运用会使学习效果加倍。
Reading comprehension is an important criterion for evaluating students' English level and cultivating students' reading ability is an important purpose of English teaching. Western researchers have begun to put language symbols and non linguistic symbols(such as action, posture, facial expression and other symbolic system) in the framework of discourse analysis, forming a new discourse analysis method that is multimodal discourse analysis. The feature of Multimodal Teaching is the multi modes resources teachers use in class. Different modes can stimulate students' different sense organs. And the author supposes different senses organs working together may make English reading more effective.
