片名英汉对译的审美原则

两岸三地的片名翻译也是各有千秋,有时大陆的直译更出彩,有时港台的意译更精妙,电影片名的汉译究竟应该采取哪种方法是不能一概而论的。本文以片名对译的审美原则对各种译法进行分析比较,希望可以对未来的片名翻译有所启示。

When translate the film names, Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan have there own merits. Sometimes, the direct translation in Mainland is more exciting, sometimes, the free translation in Hong Kong and Taiwan is more exquisite, what kind of translation is better? It can not be generalized. In this paper, we have made a comparative analysis of the aesthetic principles of film name translation, hoping to have some implications for the future translation of film names.
